There is a lot to like until you notice wide receiver is still a hole. The Commanders never got to the one that mattered most.

Simpkins III has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. On value alone, Williams makes the weekend a net positive.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
