More right than wrong for the Vikings, and a B to prove it.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Vikings did exactly that with Braelon Allen in the Round 4 slot.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up. Spending an early pick on cornerback with safety, wide receiver and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. Hopper at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
