This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Carson Beck, the No. 111 name on the board, stolen at No. 152. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

Shuler has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
