This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Kayden McDonald, the No. 33 name on the board, stolen at slot 226. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
