A sensible, unshowy class lands the Bears a B.

Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Bears never addressed edge rusher, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.

Grant at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
