Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall

Williams is the Raiders' new face under center. Grade: B-. Somewhere a general manager is explaining how De'Corian Clark got past him. The Raiders do not have to explain a thing at the Round 7 slot. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.
Caleb Williams is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick Analysis
Pick4
Rnd1
Caleb Williams
In the 4th pick they get their guy under center for the next decade. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick114
Rnd4
Troy Fautanu
They took Troy Fautanu at par in No. 114, which is nothing to complain about. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick151
Rnd5
Jack Nelson
A clean, defensible pick in pick No. 151 with a little surplus value in Jack Nelson. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick192
Rnd6
Kamal Hadden
You do not let a cornerback like Kamal Hadden reach pick 192 and blink. They did not. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick235
Rnd7
De'Corian Clark
Steal is underselling it; De'Corian Clark at the 235th overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
