The Dolphins cashed the board's mistake on Gordon II: B.

Somebody in the Round 7 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Dolphins sat still while Ollie Gordon II, the No. 164 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Spending an early pick on safety with quarterback and edge rusher open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. They are betting Gadsden II proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
