Larceny in slot 248 lands the Giants a A, Harvey and all.

Somebody in pick No. 248 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Giants sat still while RJ Harvey, the No. 170 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A to show for it.

They are betting Griffith proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The phones were where this weekend was really won. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.

Tyler Warren in the Round 2 slot should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.

Tyleik Williams at Round 2, Pick 25 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick58 Rnd2 Jalon Walker
A top-tier linebacker at a bargain, Jalon Walker in slot 58, plain and simple. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick65 Rnd3 Malaki Starks
Somehow Malaki Starks was still sitting there in No. 65, and they pounced on premier safety value. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick74 Rnd3 Hollin Pierce
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Hollin Pierce well ahead of where he belonged. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.

Taking Smael Mondon Jr. in No. 155 is close to grand larceny; a linebacker that good had no business lasting this long. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.

This one needs a full-page explanation: Thor Griffith in slot 221, miles early. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.

They robbed the room for RJ Harvey here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. The roster fit checks out.
