After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Patriots committed. Drake Maye is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

Clark falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They will need Jones to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
