You build a draft on nights like this. Tahj Brooks had no business being available in the 230th overall pick, and the Lions did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Every board in the league had Truss lower, and that gap is the story. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. They trusted the board more than the depth chart.
