A costly weekend of dealing drags the 49ers to a C.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the 49ers spent pick 189 on Akheem Mesidor, a name most had 200 spots down the list.

On value alone, Milroe makes the weekend a net positive. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close.

A whole weekend of picks and linebacker is somehow still a want. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

If Tyler Warren and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
