If confidence were a draft strategy, the Dolphins would have aced it. Tyler Shough at slot 98 is 41 spots clear of where he belonged.

The Castro steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
