The Saints got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the C.

The Saints lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C in the wash.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They are betting Jones proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

However the rest shakes out, Carson at that price is a win they earned.

Bottom line, the swing picks will decide whether this ages well.
