Nobody had Eric Gentry this high, and it is not close. The 49ers reached 145 spots to get him at the Round 7 slot. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

The Grant pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
