Somebody in the 232nd pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The 49ers sat still while Corey Kiner, the No. 187 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Every board in the league had Mays lower, and that gap is the story. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
