The Kingsley Eguakun selection is the head-turner. The 49ers reached 33 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The Jones steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it. They will answer for taking cornerback early while running back, quarterback and other spots went begging.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
