A mixed bag for the Steelers, and a C+ to match.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Steelers did exactly that with Dayon Hayes in Round 7, Pick 13. For now it grades a C+, with the swing picks left to settle the rest.

On value alone, Nelson makes the weekend a net positive. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice.

Bottom line, the swing picks will decide whether this ages well.
