Nobody else had Trey Moore anywhere near pick No. 198. The Lions did, by 95 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

Riley at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
