The Rams lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The Burke pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman and edge rusher still on the board. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The Ewers pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
