Draft Grade — Titans
Overall D
ValueB NeedB+ TradesF FutureB-
The steal of the weekend belongs to the Titans and Williams: D.

Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Titans, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. Getting Williams where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.

Pick Analysis
Pick7 Rnd1 Laiatu Latu
In No. 7 they get a problem off the edge. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick16 Rnd1 Rome Odunze
In Round 1, Pick 16 they get a difference-maker at receiver at fair value. A real need, handled.
Pick38 Rnd2 Graham Barton
Fair-plus on Graham Barton, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick100 Rnd3 Christian Mahogany
They read the board right and Christian Mahogany was the payoff at the 100th overall pick. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick106 Rnd4 Max Melton
A straight-up fair deal on Max Melton at pick 106, value and slot in agreement. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick144 Rnd5 Javion Cohen
Javion Cohen at the Round 5 slot is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the offensive lineman. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick210 Rnd6 Miyan Williams
Miyan Williams at pick 210 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick228 Rnd7 Jordan Magee
Jordan Magee at Round 7, Pick 8 is money in the bank, a linebacker taken below his worth. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
