Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Browns were there to profit. Danny Stutsman, the No. 86 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 167.

The Smith pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. They went 8 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
