The Chargers robbed the room for Siereveld. Final grade: D. The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Chargers watched Austin Siereveld slide 178 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.
They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The veteran additions, Jayden Higgins chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. They trusted the board more than the depth chart.
In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
