You build a draft on nights like this. Troy Fautanu had no business being available in Round 4, Pick 3, and the Bears did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A.

Drake Maye is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. Reaching for Bell left real value on the table behind him. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

In the end it comes back to Drake Maye, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
