Somewhere a general manager is explaining how A'Mauri Washington got past him. The Seahawks do not have to explain a thing at pick 64. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. With wide receiver, linebacker and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on tight end is the choice that costs them. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The Clarke reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.
