The phones were a trap the Falcons kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

The Anderson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. So much rides on Drake Maye that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. Spending an early pick on DT-EDGE with tight end open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Vidal pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.
