The trade table was a mismatch, and the Falcons were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Every board in the league had Logue lower, and that gap is the story. The veteran additions, Justin Fields chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
