The Falcons won the weekend at the trade table. Grade: B+.

Whoever sat across the table from the Falcons should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

If Gore Jr. pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Spann-Ford.

On the needs board they went 8 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.

By-the-book stuff, Michael Hall Jr. at the Round 3 slot squarely in line with his ranking. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
