Best value of the weekend goes to the Dolphins for Ransom: B+.

Call it larceny. Lathan Ransom sat on the board until pick No. 226, and the Dolphins did not need to be asked twice. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

If Crawshaw pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
