Lew at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

In No. 27 they get a matchup weapon at tight end, outstanding value to boot. A clean fit for the roster.

Caleb Tiernan in pick 58 lands just on the right side of the ledger. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.

Taking Connor Lew in the 92nd overall pick is close to grand larceny; an offensive lineman that good had no business lasting this long. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.

Jalon Kilgore in Round 4, Pick 27 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick133 Rnd4 Vincent Anthony Jr.
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Vincent Anthony Jr.. A need, and now a little less of one.

Nothing to complain about; CJ Daniels went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
