You can hear the double-takes from here. The Browns took Taulia Tagovailoa at slot 155, roughly 120 spots before his name belonged. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Chambers pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move.

They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
