The Bengals did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Raheim Sanders fell into the Round 7 slot. The bottom line is a respectable B.

If Bryant pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
