The search is over. The Patriots handed the keys to Jayden Daniels, and the whole operation now runs on his development. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. The Hadden steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

The Paul reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
