The Steelers did not so much draft Ty Hamilton as overpay for him, 23 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Williams pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
