The Patriots spent the pick that matters most on Drake Maye, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.

The cost of the Tupuola-Fetui reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Muhammad III at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
