The Kaden Prather selection is the head-turner. The Giants reached 107 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Borregales. They have staked the next five years on Cam Ward, which is the only story that really matters here.

A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
