You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Cowboys did exactly that with Jahvaree Ritzie in slot 239. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Kiner pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
