The Chargers finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a F.

The Chargers clearly saw something nobody else did in Jordan Jefferson, taking him 56 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

Caleb Williams gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The Smith pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at tight end.

That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Getting Jackson where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

There is no soft landing here: they fought the board and left tight end open, and the grade is the bill.
