If you want a masterclass in dealing, watch the Cowboys, who turned every swap into a profit this weekend. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Reaching for Watts left real value on the table behind him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

Getting Legette where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
