A franchise passer in Beck headlines a B- weekend for the Cowboys.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Cowboys spent their marquee pick on Carson Beck, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

The Davis pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Morgan pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Good work on the whole, with linebacker the one box left unchecked.
