The Patriots finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a A-. Thirty-one other rooms let Jacob Cowing slide, and the Patriots were the ones holding the card at No. 247. Highway robbery. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.
Everything downstream of Drake Maye depends on Drake Maye, and the building knows it. The phones were where this weekend was really won.
The cost of the Fiske reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
Bottom line, with Drake Maye leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
