Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Commanders never addressed wide receiver, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.

That Crawford pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
