The Packers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Damien Martinez fell into slot 198. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The cost of the Gregory reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
