The jury is out on the Browns. For now, C+.

Nobody had Ty French this high, and it is not close. The Browns reached 328 spots to get him at the Round 3 slot. It lands right in the middle: a C+, no more, no less.

Landing Nolen that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

So much rides on Nic Scourton that the real verdict is a season or two away.
