Whoever sat across the table from the Bears should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.

The Johnson pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The veteran additions, Trey Hendrickson chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

The Puni steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
