Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Bears never addressed edge rusher, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

If Allen pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Getting Puni where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
