A costly weekend of dealing drags the Cardinals to a D-.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Cardinals shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

Every board in the league had Shough lower, and that gap is the story. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
