The Seahawks finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B-.

The Seahawks spent the pick that matters most on Bo Nix, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

The Smith pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at linebacker and interior defensive lineman. That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Gore Jr. has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
