The Raiders answered their biggest question with Ward. Grade: D.

Somebody in slot 212 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Raiders sat still while Deontae Lawson, the No. 52 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They have staked the next five years on Cam Ward, which is the only story that really matters here. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.
