Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Browns spent the Round 6 slot on Brady Cook, a name the board had a full 69 spots lower. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

They banked enough surplus on Hampton to cover a lot of smaller sins. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
