A sensible, unshowy class lands the Browns a B.

Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Browns never addressed edge rusher, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.

Landing TeSlaa that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes. The back end got a real overhaul.

Their trades came out a wash either way.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
